Not overly good, bad or original. Another go back and talk to myself time travel work. Some what improved over the standard by the alien presence.

This was really a delightful read. It played out in my head like a modern episode of The Twilight Zone (pre-Edward and Bella "Twilight" of course!) Being familiar with the places and times in this story, it was easy for me to imagine. I wish the story had been much longer, as there were a lot of possibilities to explore. I enjoy time travel stories, as well as the mind-warping paradoxes that can occur in such stories. Now I'd kind of like to visit 1979 for a day...

I was checking how other authors present their work when I started reading 'Liberation' by Michael D. Britton. In seconds I was hooked and had to read the rest. Wonderful premise!
