About Sylvia Hubbard

Detroit native, Sylvia Hubbard, a single mother of three, has worked tirelessly to promote and encourage emerging writers in Michigan. She independently published her first romance novel in 2000 and has continued to write in that genre, sometimes venturing into other sub-genres. Always urban and contemporary styled, her writing is enjoyed all over the world. She has published 8 paperbacks and over 30 e-books.

The same year she published, Ms Hubbard also created Motown Writers Network to fill the lack of education and networking for Michigan authors online and offline. By 2004, she was frustrated that all the literary conferences had moved too far away from the city and co-created The Essence of Motown Literary Jam Conference held only in the City of Detroit annually.

In addition to romance writing, Hubbard has been featured at various conferences and workshops all over the United States and Canada, where she has taught authors how to sell their books on the Internet. She also published Internet Marketing for Writers & Businesses as a resource for those unable to attend her workshops. In the upcoming year, she will be featured in several anthologies and plans to publish additional e-books.

I am in the minority here but this was not Ms. Hubbard's best. There were grammatical errors throughout, a couple of passages that were repeated and frankly the story itself seemed to just run out of control. None of the characters were very likeable or exhibited any sory of growth.

Sylvia, I am giving you a standing ovation!!!!

As usual, you produced a work of art! I read this when it was Live and held my breath throughout the story and can't tell you how happy I was to see that it was completed.

Jen, what can I say, she truly was done wrong, and her husband was a piece of crap! Her meeting Xavier was her salvation. I like that you added that he had seen her before she and Jesse went to his property on that very cold night. He developed feelings so deep for her that he wanted to take her out of the misery that was her life.

I also enjoyed his duo personalities, Xavier's persona was aggressive, and noncaring. Jen was the first person to break through this shell, which was a result of his being abused. And even though Xhan wanted to have Xavier'slife, he knew that he was just a personality Xavier created to help him survive the abuse he experienced at the hands of his father and mother.

I really enjoyed the ending a WHOLE LOT!! You gave me more insight into the war between Lethal and King by elaborating on Paradise and Nevada's situation, and introducing a new character, which I hope to read about in Lethal's story (Katana). You also shared a little about Armando Bellini, another story I hope to read. Sylvia, I always enjoy reading your work, you make me feel like I'm a part of the story and this story definitely had a happy ending.

OMG! I didn't know if I was coming or going, this story was to good. Miss Sylvia did it again, she thinks outside the box every time. My heart went out to Jen, her beych a$$ acting husband got on my nerves. Mr. Black was sexy as hell, his personality was off the damn hook. I minute you wanted to kill him, and the next you wanted to get it on lol. I have read the onther Black series books and the Hearts and I was in hog heaven, I LOVE these two family's and can't wait for more. You won't be disappointed with this book, or series, hell or Miss Sylvia work...

Oh my damn am I the first to write a review... Hot damn... Well let me just say I love this book and waited forever for it to be available for purchase. I read it when it was live only and then I came in a year or two later than u wrote it. Either way I saw a side in King that might be likable, just a little. Gotta wait until u release his story before I'm certain. Great job as usual.
