About Steve Jensen

Steve Jensen is a writer and a creator. Not an inventor of material things, but a weaver of fantastic worlds, a deserter of reality, and a mind trickster. He lives with his wife, two daughters, and furry guinea pigs somewhere between the real world and a world contained only within the boundaries of your imagination…

Steven was born in Concord New Hampshire but raised on Lake Winnisquam in the town of Laconia New Hampshire. Steven's creativity and ambition to entertain others began when still a young boy. He often wrote stories, drew artistic drawings, or created intricate crafts for others. Later as he moved into high school, he always thrived and excelled whenever lengthy writing or artistic design was needed of him. Whether for school parade floats, or event posters, Steven was always praised for his work. High School was where he impressed the most important person of all, his high school sweetheart, Amber Adario. Steven passed the new girl from Florida a well written love note during history class... she turned him down. Although, not one to give up easily, Steven continued to pursue Amber. She finally decided to give him a chance. That chance still holds today as they have been married since August twentieth of 1994.

Moving on to a technical college for engineering, he found that his forte' was in creative and logical thinking. It was a strange combination of challenges he was willing to tackle. Early on in his college career, Steven decided he would serve his country. He left to enter into the United States Air Force stationed at Mountain Home Air Force Base and living in Boise Idaho. He served for almost five years as a Ground Radar Operator and Technician finally moving into the computer field. His understanding of electronics and work in computers helped fuel his creativity, as he decided to pursue avenues in advancing technology for the future. During his enlistment, Steven worked hard to pursue his college degree at Boise State University. Even though taking courses that interested him in writing, creative thinking, logic, and philosophy, he still decided to obtain his degree in electronics technology since it fit with his Air Force career.

At the end of his duty, Steven was discharged, and he moved to Nashua New Hampshire where he and Amber had their first child, Sydney. Thus began the grand adventure of parenthood. They lived in Nashua for a short time and finally settled in Holden Massachusetts for Steven's job. They had their second child Hannah, and finally the Jensen foursome was formed. Working day to day to support his wonderful and loving family, one day Steven felt a need to do more, to do the one thing he had always craved, but never pursued fully... to entertain with writing. Silver was born that day as Steven spent the next year trying his hand at and succeeding in writing his first Novel. This was no meager task around work, a wife, and two great children. Still living in Holden Massachusetts, Steven has many great projects in mind and continues writing to thrill and entertain the world.

"Everyone needs an escape from reality, an escape into the unknown, and an escape into the unlimited world of fantasy where anything is possible." - Steven Jensen

Silver-Destiny had excellent characters and a story line with great twists. The writing was similar to Harry Potter, so if you liked “The Sorcerer’s Stone”, I highly recommend this book. It only costs $1, so I didn’t originally expect a good reading, but once I started going thru the pages, I could not put it down. The plot was not similar to any other stories I have read and I am looking forward to other books by this author.
