Life in Post War England left a lot to be desired for young married couples who found housing and work very hard to obtain. Many chose to leave England's shores for 'Greener Pastures' and so the 'Overland' expeditions, to various parts of Africa began.
This is the story of Betty and Peter Malins, their overland journey to, and their life in Uganda. Then, with the prospect of Ugandan Independence in the 'pipe-line', their journey to New Zealand and their life in that country. Coincidences and circumstances that have occurred on their various travels culminating in their eventual emigration and retirement in Australia.
