About Jim Godden

I retired from the military in 2004, since then I've started and run a small business making and selling traditional longbows. I also have a "day job" working in private security. I've always had an interest in creative writing but did not start seriously writing until after I retired from the army. I currently live deep in the country, west of our nations capital of Ottawa with my wife Susan and our Black Lab Coby.

Review by: Susan Godden on Jan. 18, 2014 :
Such a wonderful piece of work. Jim's work is as great as Jack London (Sea Wolf). Great flow, story line, structure and knowledge of history. Once you begin reading, you cannot put the novel down. So much love and passion have been placed in his writing and can be found here. Excellent, excellent novel. A must read for anyone who loves or has an interest in archery and history. Well done indeed.
