Review by: Lon Prater on Nov. 24, 2010 : (no rating)
A distinct voice sets these sublimely dystopic pieces apart: that, and the author's clear appreciation for the power of themes in fiction. And there are powerful themes afoot here. My favorites? "Ten with a Flag" "Malingering" "Ma, Gin, and the Bug-eyed Aliens" and the absolutely shudder-inducing "Scratch". A fine collection well worth your time.
