Thomas Biehl survives as an English teacher at an alternative school and considers himself a writer in what little spare time he has. He grew up in a small town in central Illinois, left, came back, and now lives near there in Lexington with his wife, who is also a teacher and his much appreciated editor, and his two children, Gabriel and Charlotte.
