About Christopher Teese

I am a 32 year old author from Conroe, TX.

There is no easy way to define my work. A lot of my works do not fit into standard genre conventions. Writing is a playground, a place to let the imagination soar, run wild, and have fun. It is also a place to talk about deeper things, life, meaning, purpose, tragedy, overcoming, in creative and unusual ways. This is how I view writing. Therefore the only reasonably close description I can give of my work is that it's different and unique.

---For those wondering what happened to The Pit 2 and The Pit 3, the short answer is that I temporarily unpublished them because at this present time I am not wholly satisfied with them. I want to revise them a bit and republish them as updated works. For The Pit 2, there are some aspects of the Real World story which, in the process of trying to keep it aligned with the Allegorical World story, I feel I could have made a lot more sense. For The Pit 3, I came to realize that it's much harder to have an empathic connection with the protagonist on the same level of Christian (The Pit) and Thomas (The Pit 2) which is easily corrected by adding things into the story that quite frankly should have always been there in the first place. The Pit 2 and 3 represent some of my earliest written works which were written before I had the polish and skillsets that I now have, and I want to make these stories reflect much more closely the way I would present them now if I had written them recently. Because I am presently very busy in my personal life, it will be a few months before these stories are reposted. I am looking forward to republication of these works by this next Spring.---
