About K.B. Stevens

I studied Video/Film at The University of Maryland Baltimore County. Have travelled all over the world to strange places like: Iceland, Turkey, Africa, Bahamas, Mexico, Denmark, Belgium, Japan, France, America, etc. I love anything that involves the outdoors including: scuba diving, water skiing, hiking, biking, kayaking, ice-skating, snow skiing, shooting, sailing, etc. I love movies and reading, and believe that reading/writing screenplays combines the best of both mediums. Lately I have been branching out into other genres of writing like: non-fiction and erotica. I really enjoy putting a story together and hope you will enjoy reading some (all) of my books.

A grim tale of conflicting passions! Sorrow, lust and selfish hope mix and struggle to an unexpected end that does not end. Few characters were amiable but all of them were believable. Actions and dialog, no matter how extreme, always seemed natural: people living their lives for the moment, even if tragically. I won't spoil the story, so I shall ambiguously say that my heart ached for Helen, I found Maxine sexy, I liked Jack and I loathed and wanted to personally kill Tom. I felt for Tina, but more so for her mother. Lenny and the wink made me wonder what Angeline intended. In summary: a dark, cold, realistic drama about people being monstrously cruel simply by being selfish. Powerful drama but too cynical and despairing. Sexuality was sexy in its unabashed realism.

Quick enjoyable read, talked about some interesting issues. I'd recommend it. The Sin Room Facebook page has a lot of stuff about the author and the sequel.

Wasn't sure where it was all going at first, but just like a Las Vegas slot machine it paid off in the end...big time!

I don't usually read screenplays, but a co-worker knows the author. I was pleasantly surprised. The story really accelerated from start until the last page, and even though I was warned, the ending still caught me off guard! The storyline was better than most of the big budget Hollywood movies I've seen lately. Easily worth three times the .99c I paid.
