I normally don't read this particular genre, however, I am happy I did. If you like puzzles, dark places, mysteries and colorful characters, then this is the book for you. When Winifred finds herself lost in a creepy castle, she needs to find her way out. She isn't the only victim of the strange kidnapping and they realize they must work together to get free.
Miss Mae is an incredible story teller and it is always a pleasure to read and review a book for her.
I look forward to more in the series.

It's Elementary, My Dear Winifred
By: Miss Mae

I really enjoy a good mystery and this kept me really thinking all the way through who done it. The characters were great. Not only was this a mystery but all a nice romance added also done in clean taste. This book will hold your attention from the first page. I never put it down the whole time I was reading. The story is of a group of book club fans who read books and go over them together. Thing is they are all kidnapped and now they are the story. Who would do this to them? Main thing is how do they get out of this place, where there is traps and danger around each step they take? Miss Mae is a wonderful writer. I am looking forward to see what is next for Winifred and Remington. I know there has to me more. Anyone who likes a mystery will love this book. Best I have read in awhile.

Miss Mae's book is for those readers who love to solve puzzles. Trapped in the bowels of a castle, the readers group endures fierce hounds, fire, bats, and more as they try to find their way out. The story evolves as they wonder who is there captor and why? The author uses rich dialogue, mannerisms, and description to add to this Victorian era story of intrigue. I recommend it!
