I am a multi-genre author. My recurring themes include art, medical issues (usually cancer) and religion (Catholic-themes).

Working with "Doctors Without Borders," Jean-Marc and his wife, Sharon were spending Christmas Eve treating patients in Muhajeria. Sharon had asked her husband to take time from his patients and fix the crank on the village well. Disaster strikes as a small boy, trying to fix the well, falls in. Jean-Marc almost loses his life when, after rescuing Tahoor from the well, he falls back in. Sharon, after asking him to work on the well, realizes she may never be able to give him the Christmas gift she had been hiding for weeks, and displays true love for her husband as she tries to stop his descent back into the the well . Once I started reading "The Well," there was no stopping, I had to finish. This is a very touching story, I hated to see it end. Great job, Mr. Therrien.

This is a great story! I highly recommend for all readers, regardless of interests and dislikes. It's got everything: good writing, good story, good characters, suspense, adventure, love, inspiration, you name it. I'm glad I took the time I did to read it.
