This is the 2nd book in the Matthew Butler series, and the Pomeroy’s have come up with another winner! This excellent adventure story has multiple plot lines which awesomely come together at the end. Not only does this book contain adventure, it also has mystery, intrigue, suspense, romance, plenty of offbeat humor, and enough action to keep you wondering what will happen next. There is a pirate treasure to be found, a murderer to uncover, and an underlying mystery to solve. A truly satisfying read!

And if you haven’t read “Butler Did It“, the Pomeroy’s first book (it’s a freebee), by all means check it out. You will soon get hooked on the Matthew Butler series. Right now I am impatiently awaiting the release of the next Matthew Butler adventure.

I can't believe Ms. Pomeroy wrote this book. This story came across as having been thrown together. In my opinion this was disjointed and childlike. So unlike her first Butler novel. Ms. Pomeroy, I was very disappointed. I'm hoping the next will be on par with the first.
