Belmont, a young technology worker in a big city being taken over by robots has had enough. Hacked robots controlled by criminal gangs wander the streets looking for victims. Along with his robot dog, and the old robot mechanic Mr. Kim, they look for a way to escape the city before it's too late. But not all is what they expect outside the city...in the unknown lands.

About David Sloma

David Sloma is the author of the highly-rated D.U.M.B.s (Deep Underground Military Bases) series of novels, now going into book 6. His short story Cyber was first published in the defunct Alien Skin Magazine. He's also been published in a variety of other publications, magazines, and newspapers over his 30+ years as a writer, and won some awards.

I haven't liked a book as much as I liked this one in a while. I really hope Belmont,Wilbur and Mr Kim appear again for more adventures. I was sad to see them go. I recommend this not only to science fiction lovers but to anyone looking for a great read.
