*NOTE: I was given this eBook for free or at a discounted price to read and review. The opinions given here are mine based on that review.*

First- This book is for those who have a basic understanding of general biology. There are some areas of reference in the book that I would say one should have a strong grasp on biology. That is not to say that you won’t benefit from this book if you don’t. It just means that it may be harder to read and slightly overwhelming as you begin to read it.

Second- If you’re looking for a book that just tells you to “eat or take this if you have this” then this book really is not for you. However, if you’re looking for a more in-depth and expanded view on what may help easy certain ailments, and what to avoid, then it is worth a read.

Conclusion- I believe that anyone who has spent enough time looking at and for natural food, mineral, vitamin or other natural health and wellbeing related treatments would find benefit in this book. But be forewarned, it is not an easy read and may need to be read in small doses in order to grasp.

The e-book Materia Medica Vis Medicatrix Naturae by Glen Swartwout.
Vis Medicatrix Naturae means the healing power of nature. This book is very informative. Covered in this book is spirit, minerals, flower essences, homeopathy, color therapy, infrared therapy, vitamins, essential fatty acids and enzymes. It explains how live food contain active enzymes. That cooked food and processed food do not contain enzymes because they have been cooked out. This book gets in depth about toxins in your body. There is so much information in this book so it can seem a bit over whelming, but if you take your time reading it and you believe in taking care of yourself inside and outside, learning about how you can heal yourself, this book for you. I found it very interesting and educational.
