About Michelle Rodriguez

Michelle Gliottoni-Rodriguez earned a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Saint Xavier University in 2002. Michelle has won various awards in the Chicagoland area for singing. Her musical theatre experience includes the roles of Nettie Fowler in Carousel and Agnes Gooch in Mame. Through St. Xavier University, she has portrayed Sister Genevieve in Suor Angelica, Rosalinde in Die Fledermaus, the Countess in The Marriage of Figaro, and Yum-Yum in The Mikado and sang roles in scenes from The Marriage of Figaro, Fidelio, The Old Maid and the Thief, The Impresario, and Suor Angelica. This spring, she will be playing the Queen of the Night in The Magic Flute.

Also an avid writer since her youth, she published her first novel in August of 2011, a Gothic romance titled Opera Macabre. She is following that with the publication of the first of her angel series The Devil’s Galley. She has written over 25 novels and hopes to keep publishing and sharing her stories with the world. She has also been posting stories based on The Phantom of the Opera for the past 2 years and has a worldwide following, including having stories translated to German and Russian for other fan bases.
Despite keeping busy as a singer and an author, her most important job of all is being a wife and a mom to her two beautiful children, Noah and Cordelia.
