Sky Dance is a fine story on its own and also ties in to the Guild of the Cowry Catchers epic. I bought this when it was still a text + audio combo and especially like the audio version. I would have reviewed the audio edition if this site would let me.

I really enjoyed this short story set in the Panamindorah universe. If you're interested in Prophet or Cowry Catchers, this story is a great entry point into a vibrant, detailed world full of compelling characters. If you're already a fan, it's fun to see Thessalyn as a child, and this story gives some insight into her background and sympathetic nature.

This is a novella/novelette, but well-worth the price, especially since the purchase also includes an excellent audio version of the story. Hilton does a beautiful job producing audio that brings the story to life.
