I'm Christopher Hayden, a former U.S. Army Infantry Sergeant. I spent nearly 5 years on active duty, including a combat tour in Iraq from 2004 to 2005. I was eventually wounded in a car bombing and awarded a Purple Heart. I also received a Combat Infantryman's Badge.

I am now a veteran who is dealing with a Traumatic Brain Injury, Chronic PTSD, and Depression. I write as a way to express myself and attempt to heal and am proud to share my experiences with my readers.
