I wasn't sure about the premise at first--the whole blackmailing someone into marriage thing--but once the romance got rolling, I thought it was both sweet and sexy. Good love scenes.

The book is good.

Lucy and jack are the main characters.Jack gets framed and convicted for theft by Lucy's Ex-husband (malcolm).

When jack is released from prison , his only aim is to clear his name.He strikes a deal with lucy (who is trying to stay alive from her abusive ex-husband) to protect her and in turn she must tell all about malcolm.

Together they try to figure out who framed jack and what they meant to each other.

A story of two people finding and helping each other in one way or another. The characters were amazingly written and you felt part of the story. I can not say enough about this author!! If you want short, fun, erotic stories this book and author are a great place to start.

They save each other. Both victims of the same evil man, their marriage of convenience is meant to help provide them both with a new life. Working close together, they get to know one another deeply, which makes for a good enough romance storyline. We also get intimate looks into each character, causing us to see beyond the facade the world has stereotyped them with. And that, along with the mystery needing to be solved, is what raises this novel above to a 5. The storyline flows as pieces of the puzzle are unraveled and put back together to form a new picture of events. Family provide a realistic backdrop. The openness of the mountains and loch provide a nice foil to the prison from which they've both escaped. Both refused to play the victim, and in saving themselves, they find and save one another.

I really enjoyed reading this romance. Jack and Lucy make a great couple and I loved how falling in love with Lucy humanised Jack after his stint in prison. And the sex scenes were hot!

Blackmail Bride ~ An Erotic Romance in Scotland had a plot to figure out 'who done it?' and a hot hero with a damsel in distress to rescue; to make it a perfect story lots of hot steamy descriptive love/sex scenes. Jack is tough with the bad guy, super caring and sensitive to Lucy and clever in figuring out how to solve the mystery of who framed him for a thief he did not commit. Lucy is brilliant math genius that sees patterns others are totally unaware of and at the same time suffering from being in an abusive marriage. The twist and turns of the mystery that Jack and Lucy work together to solve as they help each other learn to trust and love each other makes this one of the best stories I have read in a while. I would like to read a story about Jack's twin, Greg next.

I wish we could just star review these without writing. Bride was excellent. Read it in one day. Longer than Chocolate and The Gift.

I read the old version by "Normanda" and this one with the added romance/erotica makes it even better! A good afternoon's read.

Romances are so fulfilling though often poorly written and not realistic. The plot is good and this one is well written, as all Storm Chase books tend to be.

I love the Storm Chase books, this was a great read, the hero was heroic the villain was suitably bad. Loved it!
