Review by: Jeffrey Allen Davis on Aug. 12, 2013 :
The stories are really flash fiction, as they are mostly a few pages each. A couple of them deal with environmental issues. Some of them have a "Twilight Zone-esque" quality about them. Many of them have Biblical undertones with characters who test their faith and sacrifice for others. All are very entertaining, although I was a bit confused by the ending of "Hope." My favorites: "World War Four," "White," "Count to Ten," and "Escaping Darkness."

I was surprised how much I enjoyed these short stories! My favorite is "Green", the first story, though they were all good. Celesta Thiessen writes well, makes her stories interesting, and has a good imagination. One story has a follow up, and I have every intention of checking it out, because I want to know what happens! If you like end of the world stories, this may just be a collection you'll want to check out!
