Good story. Typos that are irritating but hopefully will be fixed. I enjoyed this story and I am looking forward to more :-)

The story moves on well, i do not feel myself being dragged on. I like how you have elements and factors that switch it up from the typical zombie story. Thanks for the read.

Personally, I am really in to it. Maybe change the date to more future so the weapons are more realistic. But, the characters and setting is really well built. I love how you describe her thoughts really good.

I personally enjoyed it. I am hooked now. Go make chapter 2!

Anyways, besides a few issues with technology, it's amazing.

Thanks for the great read!

It's not entirely terrible. Factually you need to learn how DNA works (not the way you think it can here, go watch Blade Runner and Roy Batty talking to Eldon Tyrell near the end) and how people recycle used rifle rounds (also not the way you describe, your magnet method is totally unnecessary because there are boxes designed to catch ejected rounds).

On the whole its not a bad story, gets into the idea easily enough. Worth carrying on with, maybe go twice as long next time.
