I got very involved with the characters. I was crying more than once while I read this. It was an amazing find when I downloaded this book. Ms. Hoyt is a wonderful author and I look forward to reading more from this talented lady!

This was one that kept my up all night reading. That makes for a positive book review but is not good for my life. Oh well, life's too short to bother with sleep.

Once I got used to the writer's style, I found this book very enjoyable and was willing to pay the price to read the second book.

Left me wanting more...which says everything. Throw in references to Big Bang Theory's Sheldon and his odd relationship, oh my...its a feast for the geek at heart. There is fighting, humor, vulnerability, magic and a bit of romance. Excellent read, highly recommended, though addictive in nature. When's the next book due?
