A green thumb by genetics, by nature and by profession, Dannielle Doyle is an award-winning horticulturalist and garden writer. Dannielle has spent the past several years working as a professional, hands-on horticulturalist – doing everything from landscape design, installation and maintenance to personal gardening, consulting, ornamental pest control and garden writing. She has designed landscapes and gardens for municipal parks, cemeteries, commercial properties and elite residential properties. She co-owned and operated a large-scale, retail-production greenhouse and nursery facility, personally propagating and growing about 90 per cent of the plant material via seeds and cuttings.
Dannielle is an Ohio State University master gardener with a degree in landscape technologies. She has taught classes on trees and shrubs, as well as garden pest control for the master gardening program. When she isn’t at work in the garden, Dannielle enjoys being creative, living a thrifty lifestyle, playing bass guitar, spending time at the lake, and hiking in the mountains with her two dogs, Jackson and Harper.
