Good read! Very appropriate title at at time when everyone in America connected with NYC. As someone who never seems to have the time to read, this book made me want to make time. Good job Mr. Kaplan!

I really enjoyed this book. It was very interesting. The historical fiction brought me back to 9/11 and my emotions living through that day and the days following. The main character, Freddy,a clumsy waiter, was an unlikely protagonist. I found myself rooting for him despite his imperfections. I loved the way the romance developed between him and Monica. Who doesn't love a good romantic story? This book had me laughing, crying, exhilarated, and delighted. It was a real page turner that had me in it's grips not longer after I got started. Great read!
