Life is full of lofty goals. Everyone has them. I am sure you are working hard to achieve one right now.

I like to try to keep things simple. Setting myself up for failure has never been all that appealing. That being said, my goals for today do seem a little out of left field. Even for me.

I don’t think any of them can be done overnight, especially the one about the puppy. More

About Amber Lynn

I love books. Until recently, I kept to just reading them, but ideas for characters and scenes took control of my mind and made me have to get those ideas down. I have been writing for about a year and have really enjoyed working out the process of taking my ideas and forming new worlds for others to enjoy.

This whole writing thing is still a hobby for me. I sit down on weeknights and weekends and just float over to my other worlds for a while. Other hobbies of mine include: drawing, baking, arts and crafts, motorcycles, hockey, and archery. I like to think I have eclectic tastes where my hobbies are concerned. I love to laugh and try to at least make myself smile once a day. With the crazy thoughts going on in my head that usually isn't hard.

I loved this book just as much as I loved the first two books in the series! Book three picks off right where book two left off and had just as much non-stop, intense action & suspense to it as the first book did! I love this series and I can't wait to read the next book to come!! I highly recommend reading this series!

Night Bites (Nyx Slaughter #3)

I received a free copy, in exchange for a review.

Nyx, once again, is in over her head, kind of. One of her connections, to her soul mate has been severed. But it's easy to fix...kind of. Then, she wants to kill the person who did this to many reasons behind that issue. Third, she received a hellhound, yes, a hellhound, that will eventually grow three heads, but loves her so much. Finally, needs to find out the missing piece to her genetic makeup. Pretty easy, right?

'I pick up the little guy and he immediately licks my face. I guess that means he likes me. His breathe reeks of sulfur. How exciting for me. I wonder if he will like breath mints.

"Nope, off you go. I will stop in soon to see how you two are getting along. Sometimes the baby pups have difficulty adjusting to their new environments."

When the environment is filled with bigger dogs, I can imagine there is going to be a lot o issues with this development. It is too bad the little guy is so cute. I might have been able to say no, I bet Ben trained him to give me those sad puppy dog eyes.

Just looking down at them again, I am afraid this pup already has be wrapped around his little finger, or paw in this case.'

I absolutely love this series! It is so light hearted and funny. I love the introduction of the hellhound and just got the 4th installment. Do not miss this series, since it is one of the best I've read in awhile!

Oh my Goodness!! I really, really need a Clyde!!!

This is a really good addition to the series and I think it really helps with the development of both the characters and their relationships with each other.

I did find Sebby's reaction a little over the top but Nyx keeps him under control with her usual brand of subtlety!

These books keep you turning the pages, and as the series has progressed it has become easier and easier to connect with the characters. READ THEM!!

I received this book for free in exchange for my honest review.

This book didn't end with quite the cliffhanger book 2 did, which I am ok with since I don't have book 4, lol. I know I am being selfish, but I am enjoying this series and the life of Nyx! It is a good storyline, and not predictable. There were parts in the book where I thought I knew who the bad person was and ended up being wrong. I am hooked and will absolutely continue following this series.

My only complaint is how short the books are. If I was just perusing trying to find somehting new to read, I wouldn't pay the price for such a short story. Personally I think the author should combine the first 3 books into 1 book.

This story starts off with a bang after Nyx is kidnapped, everyone starts acting crazy. This bring new adventures and new family members to the group.

The only needle in my side is her mouth every other word is a four letter word, we know that she is the queen of bad it don't have to come out of her mouth all the time.

I am really enjoying this series and can't wait find out what happen in the next book....
