But daughter Paige has other ideas, like a little search of her own - for her father. Trouble is, he's on the other side of the planet, and they haven't seen him in years. And let's face it - it's going to take a very special guy to take on The Two Miss Parsons.

Review by: Gillian Torckler on Jan. 31, 2011 :
I really enjoyed the journey that the two main characters in this book embark on. It is kind of a "coming of age" book for both the single mother and her teenage daughter. The reader is swept along by the very believable plot and the relationships that unfold both between mother and daughter and the others they encounter along the way.

Review by: DC Grant on Nov. 25, 2010 :
Right from the first page this books hurtles along taking the two Miss Parsons from England to New Zealand and then to Fiji all in search of love and maybe a bit of stability it what has become a world turned upside down. The style is easy to read with the first person viewpoint taking us right inside Cally Parson's sometimes chaotic mind. This is nicely counterpointed by Paige Parson's texts and emails to her best friend revealing her thoughts at crucial points, her reasoning sometimes more mature than her mothers. Events escalate to an surprising conclusion, leaving us guessing until the end - who is brave enough to take on the two Miss Parsons?
