I agree with most of the others.. I enjoyed reading, but it would of been nice to know the history of the characters. I think this would be an excellent preface for a whole entire novel. I think it is wasted as a short story...

I loved this but I would have liked to know more about the characters and their past. I look forward to reading more though! ^_^

Good, enjoyable short story. Didn't capture my emotions that much and draw me in, but Ms Zane's writing and plot were great so looking forward to reading other stuff of hers.

I would love to know the back-story to this, wish it was longer so I could get a better feel for the environment.

I really enjoyed this short story. The characters were incredible together and how they got together was delightful. I want to know what they do next.

I can't believe I've had this story tucked away in a folder for a year and a half before pulling it out to read. Like wine, maybe it inproved with age.
