I purchased this book on a whim and could not put it down. I live in the USA and I have never traveled in the places where the story takes you. The author weaves an exceptional story, combined with a great descriptive technique that makes you feel like your a "tagging" along and trying to help solve this mystery.

To me, it is obvious that the author has spent time in these far off ancient lands and has researched the various historical factors that are woven into this fictional story.

If you love a book where you feel your are involved in solving a mystery, this book is for you.

Highly recommended and a very captivating read!!! My only disappointment is that I finished it.....But I can keep a secret so you'll have to read it to solve the puzzle......

Five stars...........
