Rated 4.00/5 based on 4 reviews
The day before, I had been baptized. The minister had told us a story, about a person in the bible that had seen a demon and how to get it to flee. He said to say, “Get out in the name of Jesus Christ.” More

Very inspiring!I love how the author takes an honest assessment of the role emotions play in coloring reality and is able to move beyond that and deal with life on a positive basis. Families help us cope, too! Very wise.

Gerty, I enjoyed your story. I think your writing will help, will touch many people in wonderful ways. This is nitpicky, but I liked that you write in the first person, and that you write declarative sentences in the active voice. Clearly, you know what you're talking about. People believe you. You're brave with a lot to offer, so keep writing, please.Thank you so much for the kind review you wrote for one of my stories.Good luck to you, and God bless.

Review by: Hobbe Noxious on June 04, 2015 :
Atrocious. This is a slap in the face to anyone who normally enjoys reading. It's like opening a book, and instead of finding good, quality literature, all you get is rank fart.

I suppose that is the downside to living in the information age. Anyone can publish anything, anywhere. Case in point.

Repetative, unoriginal, and lackluster throughout. My advice to you, Gerty, is to keep getting your parents to help you write. However, have them stick your stories on the refrigerator, instead of posting them online. At least until you finish honing what passes for your "craft".

Review by: Wendy Hershey on March 20, 2013 :
In this short story, the author tells us simply, that all of us have the most powerful anti-demontic tool available...Jesus Christ. We simply have to call on His name to protect us from the demons in our life. Thank you for writing this short story. You clearly have shown the power of Jesus Christ in your words!
