About J.L. Bwye

J L Bwye has been an intermittent freelance journalist for half a century, mostly in Kenya. She wrote regular feature articles for the Daily Nation in the ‘60s, and under a by-line BWYE THE WAY… for The Chronicle, in the ‘80s. She has co-ordinated/authored a cook book in aid of the National Museums of Kenya, and has written a short history in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of her local church. Her first novel BREATH OF AFRICA, took forty years to gestate, and draws on her experiences growing up in the country she still calls her home.
