About Robert Nicholls

I am a Canadian born Aussie, having emigrated with my wife to North Queensland in 1975. Since then, we've raised a son and have both been working in the state high school system. My areas have been English, History and Geography while hers has been Science. I write because I'm hooked on the music of words. I also sculpt, in wood and stone, because things that can be made with, and held in, the hands are good for the soul.

Review by: Roger Skinner on Feb. 08, 2015 :
Here is a novel well worth a read, demonstrating a mastery of the English language, & a knack for great storytelling. The characters are well developed & they quickly engage the reader in a story full of tragedy, mystery, a bit of fantasy, & some really good karma. The novel also does a terrific job of capturing the dynamics of life in a small town - a town that has to find it's way through some very tough & complex situations. Looking forward to more works from Mr Nicholls.
