Fern is the second book in Amy Richie’s Blood Vine Series. I highly recommend this series.
As Willow and her pack settle in to their new home, they desire to live peacefully and unnoticed by the small community around them. However, two councilmen from the Ancient City have different plans for the young pack. The unexpected trip to the Ancient City brings about big changes for Willow and her pack. Willow grows into her role as the female leader as she discovers that her mental connection with her pack is stronger than she anticipated. The challenges that the pack faces in this book makes their bond grow and their loyalty to each other is impressive. The author does an excellent job describing the scenes in the Ancient City and the characters emotions, which helped pull me into the book! I cannot wait until the next book of the series is released!
I was gifted a copy of this book for an honest review.

I loved reading about Willow and her pack again, and if you enjoyed the first book in the series, you will definitely want to read this one. Full of action from the start, I was gripped and just couldn’t put it down. Incredibly descriptive, the story flowed well and the characters have all grown since we first met them, leaving me wanting to know so much more. I can’t wait to read book 3.
I received an e-copy from the author in exchange for an honest review.

I loved this book! However, I really recommend reading the first book in the series, Willow. It will explain a lot of the pack rules and people's relationships. The writer describes the landscapes flawlessly. I can feel the main character's emotions and I understand why she feels the way she does. I love the relationships she has with her pack mates; she cares for them and would do anything to keep them safe. If you like the werewolf/vampire type of books, you will definitely want to read this series. The ending of this book opens the door for another, so I can't wait to read on!

This book is a great continuation of the first book Willow. In this one, the pack leader Willow has moved her pack out of danger, but knew her 'mom' Bella, called Fern now that she's power crazy, wants to destroy her pack. Two older werewolves from the council come to Willow and want her and the pack to come to the ancient city to free Gage, Willow's love interest and Alpha of the her pack. He was imprisoned by the vampire Andros, the leader of the ancient city. When they go back, things have changed and Willow's mission becomes more complicated than she had imagined. The book really had a great plot and this author did a great job bringing me into the story. I got a little confused about who was talking during the dialogue because there are so many boys in the wolf pack, but I love them all! They all had their own personalities and were relatable.

Fern by Amy Richie is the sequel to Willow and I definitely recommend that you read Willow before reading Fern. This is an amazing series about werewolves.
In the story, Willow and her pack have moved on from their previous town and have found a peaceful existence on a remote farm. But things change when two strangers show up and ask Willow and her pack to come to the Ancient City and help rescue Gage. Things in the Ancient City are in turmoil and there are a lot of surprises that Willow and the boys must deal with.
In book 1, Willow transformed from a scared high school girl to a pack leader. In this book, Willow becomes an even stronger leader and she must make hard decision. She fights to protect her pack and she discovers her inner strength.
This book had a lot of action and twists. It definitely kept my interest and the ending left me begging for book 3.
I definitely recommend this book to fans of YA werewolf stories.
