Dream Doctor

Rated 4.50/5 based on 4 reviews
Between adjusting to life as a newlywed and trying to survive the first month of medical school, Sara Alderson has a lot on her plate. She definitely doesn’t need to start visiting other people’s dreams again. Unfortunately for her, it’s happening anyway. More

What if you could see everyone else’s dreams?

Sara Barnes has just discovered that she can. And this gift – or curse – will lead her on an extraordinary journey.

Follow Sara as her newfound ability leads her into adventures she never imagined. She will hunt down a serial killer, investigate a plot to murder one of her teachers, unravel a conspiracy between a mobster and a corrupt politician and face off against her nemesis: a woman who shares her talent, but uses it to destroy lives rather than save them. And Sara will have to manage all that while finishing college, becoming a doctor and falling in love, too.

And that's only in the first four books...

The "gift" of seeing the dreams of others makes for interesting mysteries. Sara has to identify the dreamer and sort out fact from imagination. In this book she has to figure out who is killing a prof unpopular enough that many people dream about his death.
Good pacing and character development.

Dream Doctor- book 2
This is anorther great book in the Dream
series. Sara thought her dreams were over only for
them to come back at a time in her life when she
needed to be concentrating on other things like
marriage, Med School, Friends and family.
So now she has to figure out how to figure out
what her dreams are trying to tell her plus manage
married life, her education ,and her friend who
needs her.
J.J. DiBenedetto has done it again with
another great book. This is a must read you will
be pulled into Sara and Brian's life wanting to
know whats next for them.
I absolutly love this series. And give this
book a 5 star rating. Cant wait to read the 3rd
book.

In Dream Doctor, the 2nd book of his Dream Book
series, J.J. DiBenedetto has raised the bar on his
writing, and on our devotion to his creative
masterpieces! Dream Doctor continues with the life
of Sara Barnes, now Sara Alderson, as she has
graduated college and moved on to Med School, and
the life of a newlywed living on campus with her
husband, Brian, whom we were introduced to in
Dream Student.

As with the first book in this series, Dream
Doctor will have your full attention from the very
first page, and you won’t want to put the book
down until you have gotten to the very last page
of the book. We walk through Sara’s life with
her as she works hard for her new classes, moves
forward in her happy new marriage to Brian, and
then, we feel her emotions as she is once again
pulled into the dream world of others dreams.

While Sara tries to focus on her classes, she
finds her friends in need of her help. This
installment of the Dream series is very tense, and
very emotional as we see Sara helping others cope
with major life events, and as she delves deeper
into the dreams of a possible killer. But just who
is the killer? Or is there really a killer at all?

As you read this book, you will feel as if
you’re right there with Sara. Watching as
everything in the world she knows and loves
changes even more than it did in the first book,
Dream Student. Sara is becoming quite the
celebrity when it comes to solving the problems of
her friends. So with page after page filled with
mystery, love and bonds that last forever, we will
all feel a bond to Sara and Brian and all of their
friends, and by the end, we all know that amazing
things can happen to all of us.

4 Stars

Sara is trying to balance being a newlywed and being in med school. As if this wasn’t difficult enough, her nightmares are back. It is up to Sara and Brian to figure who exactly wants to kill one of her teachers, which won’t be easy, seeing as how everyone hates him. Plus, each of Sara’s dreams reveal another possible suspect. But Sara’s dreams take on a more personal role, when one of her friend’s Mom receives a terminal diagnosis. Will Sara be able to handle everything: help her friend, save her teacher’s life, balance medical school and find time to spend with her husband?

J.J. DiBenedetto continues his unique suspense series in Dream Doctor. In this second installment, the emotions are turned up a notch and readers will find them choking back tears on several occasions. This book follows the same style as the first, with tons of detail but no graphic scenes. The pace is a bit slower this time around, but there are many twists and turns that will keep readers guessing until the very end. Readers will be instantly picking up the next book in the series, in order to continue the journey with Sara and Brian.

This was another wonderful book in the Dream series. This book definitely had more emotions than suspense, but it was still a great read. I am highly anticipating the next book.
