I can't say I liked Stray, but I kept reading to see if it would get better and make more sense. It didn't. I still don't know what Jane imagined and what was real. Apparently she was a really sensitive nut case whose imagination ran wild as she wobbled through a foggy life. The editing was unusually good.

I liked the unpredictability in this short, though a little confusing in spots. The dialogue felt too rushed at times and the way the character spoke came off as formal in some places, but I liked the messiness. Liked us being dropped into this woman's world and just taking the ride with her, with, as in life, no guarantee for a happy ending - even for the deserving. My only real problem was Jane coming across like a doormat. Of course, not every woman is meant to be her own heroine.

i did not enjoy this book at all. i felt you started off well then you were in a rush to finish it. At the end of the book, i was so shocked that i had finished that i kept going back to see if i had accidentally missed any pages. I did not the essence of it. So she has an affair, he lies, she never approaches him, we never find out if it was true that his wife was actually pregnant she forgive her husband for being away for 9 months in just 10 minutes? i felt like whoa! is that it, is there no sequel?
i'm so glad i never had to buy this book, it would have hurt so much had i used my money, i don;t think i'll try reading any more of your books, sorry.
