"My political, murder novel , "The Swamps of Jersey" was published Nov. 1 by Izmadi Publishing. Info at "About" at www.michaelstephedaigle.com. It's the story of lonely police detective Frank Nagler who has to sort through the death of a woman found headless and handless in a swamp in Ironton, N.J., the possibility that someone has been stealing money from the city for years, a hurricane that flooded the city and a warehouse fire that killed three people, plus the problem that all the clues point back to his former girlfriend, who left town. One question the story asks: What do you do when the murder case you are investigating breaks your heart?
Works in progress are the second of three Nagler stories, "The Game Called Dead," and a story so far called "Three Rivers," about the life and times of Smitty, a character in my short story available from Smashwords called "The Summer of the Homerun."
