About Matthew Andrews

Matthew C. Andrews, Ph.D. designs and studies innovative, educational programs that engage students of all ages in lifelong learning. He studies human development and engage students of all ages in lifelong learning.
Dr. Andrews studied human development in education under Dr. William Damon at the Stanford University School of Education. He used clinical interview and online surveys in a 4-year longitudinal study to understand how adolescents develop a sense of purpose to learn in the world. His research suggests that educational policy in America needs to focus on student motives beyond grades in classrooms and performances on standardized tests toward cultural and moral inspirations in life. Matt is an entrepreneur and scholar in education. He works with schools and educational organizations around the world.
