About Doris E. Davis

About the author:
Doris E. Davis was born on a farm, the youngest of six, in North Florida. She majored in Music at Florida State University and began teaching music in Pensacola. She married her high school sweetheart, a Naval Officer. She accompanied him to Newfoundland, Iceland and then New Jersey, where she began teaching first grade. They spent two years in Sicily before returning to the States. After her husband left the Navy, she continued to teach in various places in Florida. She had always enjoyed writing and made up stories even as a young girl. This interest continued when she received a Masters Degree from CBN University with honors, now known as Regent University, in Virginia Beach. She majored in Communications, with an emphasis in creative writing. She has always loved writing and is convinced it’s a disease! Free now from her teaching job, she has a cure. She writes all the time.
