I liked that Kitty's character was developed and matured - in Austen's original story she doesn't have much of a function. I also liked that Kitty got her happily ever after, as imagined by Jane herself.

An interesting book but I wonder if some of the characters have drifted a little further away from Jane Austin's original tale. Still worth reading though.
