This wonderful collection of stories by Ginny Baird contains the first four books in her Holiday Brides Series. These were all wonderfully sweet romantic stories that I could not put down. I have a special fondness for Christmas stories so all of these stories hold a special place in my heart.
The Christmas Catch Holiday Brides #1:
Christine White has such a full plate. Since she lost her husband, she has been a single mother, raising an adorable, intelligent four year old son. She is in desperate need of some time to recharge and spend some quality time with her son. Her best friend, whom is also her boss sends her to Vermont to house sit. I found it so sweet that Christine's friend seen how much Christine needed this get away.
Little does Christine know she is about to meet handsome, wonderful, and helpful John Steadman. John seems to pop up in all the the right places to run into Christine and her son until they finally make plans to meet again. These two become instant friends and John shows Christine and Tyler all the fun things to do in Vermont. I really liked that John included Tyler in all the outings with Christine and found things that Tyler would enjoy doing as well.
I really enjoyed reading John and Christine's story. The Christmas Catch is a wonderful sweet romance story.
The Holiday Bride Holiday Brides #2:
I have to say that this was my favorite story in the collection. They were all fabulous but I LOVED this story. Lucy West has a jerk of a fiance' that she is about to marry. He's just not the right person for her. When she disappears for a few days he doesn't even know she has been gone. What a butt head!
However Lucy takes a fall on the sdie walk and that is when everything changes. She ends up with a wonderful family that helps her figure out what is going on. William Kinkaid's little girl is certain that Lucy has been left as a surprise from Santa. You see she wants a new mommy and she thinks Lucy will fit that bill just perfectly.
There are many twist and turns, some really sweet family moments, some sweet romantic moments, and a bit of mystery. I just adored this story. I have to admit that I could not put this story down until I was finished. All the books in this wonderful collections are fairly short and can be read in a short amount of time. Which is great if you are looking for a feel good Holiday story just before bed, or anytime.
Mistletoe in Maine Holiday Brides #3:
I really enjoyed this story as well. Carol Baker wanted to take her children on a Christmas vacation that they would never forget. When she finds the Love Inn located in Maine she thinks she has found the perfect vacation spot. She doesn't know if she can truly afford the vacation but in the end I don't think she could have afforded not to take this vacation.
Paul Love is thinking of retiring from the inn life since he lost his wife. He plans this to be his last Christmas as an inn Owner. So when the Baker family arrives and a few members of Paul's own family arrive as well it makes for an intimate Christmas holiday. I loved the family aspect of this book. I thought it was sweet that they all became one big family for the holiday. They do many things together and show the kids a really fun White Christmas. Paul and Carol hit it off right away and there is chemistry between these two. Can they find a way to make it work for them after Carol and the kids go back home?
Once again this is another one of those feel good stories that left me with the farm fuzzy feeling when I was finished reading it. I would highly recommend this whole set to all my fellow Christmas story fans out there. If you are already a fan of Ginny Baird I know you are going to love this collection. If you have not read her work yet this is a great way to give her stories a chance.
Beach Blanket Santa Holiday Brides #4:
Christmas on the beach, what could be more perfect? Except when a winter storm is blowing in and leaves everyone on the island stranded for a few days.
Sarah Anderson's friend insist that she take a vacation over the Christmas Holiday, and that she make use of the beach house. She won't take no for an answer so Sarah heads off for her Beach Holiday. Little does she know that Matt Salvatore has also been instructed that he needs a break. He too is planning to spend the holiday at the beach house.
These two have a past together that embarrasses Sarah and that Matt doesn't quite understand. This makes for some interesting moments and a few twists and turns at the beach house. I really enjoyed watching Sarah and Matt REALLY get to know each other. It turns out they have more in common then they thought and they have a lot of fun together. By time they can leave the island are they really going to want to? I'm going to let you grab a copy and find out for yourself.
I have become a big fan of Ginny Baird's work. She writes the sweetest romances that leave you with those warm fuzzy feelings. She also adds a lot of humor and I love to laugh when I am reading a book. If you have not read her work yet I suggest you give one of these a try. You don't need to read them in order because they stand alone. I hear Ms. Baird has a new book coming out soon, I can't wait to read it.
I was given the opportunity to read this book to share my thoughts with you. As always it has been my pleasure to share my thoughts on this great collection of stories.

The Holiday Brides Collection (Books 1-4) by Ginny Baird
This book is a collection of 4 Christmas holiday novels by the same author.
The stories in this book are about Christmas and snow and traditions and finding true love.
The Christmas Catch
John Steadman is a college professor in a little town near Burlington, VT. He had helped tow Christine and her son Tyler out of the snowdrift along with his dog Mason.
They lived in Chicago but were house sitting for Helen, her boss and best friend. Christine White had lost her husband Dan in the war. She's an artist, graphic doing designs for a card company.
They do meet up again in town, shopping for groceries. John talks to his dog Mason and assures him he will ask her out. They went to the same college in NC. Helen told Christine to check him out online and ask him out...
Love the part where there is no TV and they have to play the old fashioned way, with puzzles, Lincoln logs, and books.
Over cocoa in town at the children's center she tells John of her dreams about work and they also have agreed to go sledding...
The story also follows Helen and her love interests.
The Holiday Bride
Lucy works in a diner and it's Christmas eve, very busy day. Mitch and her are to be married the 31st but when she stops to see him she tells him she'll deliver the gifts for clients so he can finish his other work.
William Kinkaid and his 5 year old daughter Carmella and twelve year old son Justin all live together since his wife Karen had died.
Problem is Lucy falls and hits her head, unconscious she wakes up on Williams' couch and has no memory of why she is there...
Christmas day and his parents show up and with all the excitement some think Eddie planned all this as a joke, that she's a stripper. She can't even recall her name or anything of her past just that she loves chocolate.
They will take her to the doctor the next day. Justin makes a web page and with the sexy elf costume they get a lot of calls and visits about Lucy.
Rather funny in a way that Roger doesn't even realize his to be wife is not even home and finds out from the real Bridget that she's not gotten her Christmas gifts...
Mistletoe in Maine by Ginny Baird
Carol Baker, divorced lives with her 2 teen kids: Ashley and Will and the kids had wanted to go to Maine for the holidays as their mother is a teacher and had the time off.
Their dad stopped by with her his girl on their way to the islands and gave them gifts and Carol decided then and there that yes they would go to Maine.
Paul Love and his teen son, Daniel who'll be heading to college soon is at his father's inn in Maine when they get company. Family company -Paul's mother and father and a guest they picked up at the airport.
He wants to sell the Inn and move on with his life...
Each one has a special someone they want to spend time with. Ashley is looking out for the Christmas moose and has seen it a few times but can't get anybody to believe her.
Love hearing of the snow skiing lessons...What I really liked was all the romance and friendliest feelings for one another. Easy to keep track of the characters.
So much fun on this journey to Maine, the atmosphere, the snow, the activities, the holiday surprises, the food and the artist.
Beach Blanket Santa
Matt Salvatore and his brother, Robert, both lawyers agree that Matt needs some time away and he can have the beach house in NC, outer banks to help get over Katya.
Sarah Anderson is friends with Elaine who also owns the beach house and after she gets married again Sarah can use the beach house while Elaine is honeymooning with her new husband.
They both knew one another-having attended Robert and Elaine's wedding 3 years earlier...
The storm leaves them stranded and Matt teaches her how to make from scratch Christmas sugar cookies. Between all the kissing and touching they each find themselves cooling off from all the heat they generated...
Love all the things they find to do with themselves to keep busy, too funny! Love how resourceful he is and how she must tell him her secrets.
I received this book from the author as a gift in exchange for my honest review.
