About Libby O'Neill

I am an Australian fiction writer and artist.
Originally from Maitland, near Newcastle, I have lived in Central West NSW for more than thirty years. Many things inspire my creative pursuits - my life experiences, country and coastal locations and travel. One of the hardest things when writing is choosing the right name for characters.
In 2012, I self-published one of my novels called The Jasper Plate. This novel is available for purchase as a paperback, a hard-cover book and also as an ebook.
Online, visit The Book Depository, Amazon or the Xlibris online bookstore to order, or order from any good bookstore. Links to two of these sites and more information about the book can be found on my website.

Cheers Libby - my family and I were in NYC a year ago (almost exactly). Some of the places you mentioned we also visited. As an Aussie, I found the service amazingly good - whether at a restaurant, shop or even the subway. maybe it was because they knew we were tourists as soon as we said something, I'm not sure, but I loved their service attitude and it made tipping so much more enjoyable.

We also ate VERY well, walked so far, and caught the subway and cabs all over Manhattan. We also rode bikes (from Battery park and into Brooklyn over the bridge). Top of the Rock is the best view of NYC and we did that in the morning - we the Empire State at night.

A fabulous city with something for everyone. Thanks
