I will agree, this novel is simple; yet with a lot of heart, humor, and wisdom. The writing style reminded me of a young Edward Abbey meets Jack Kerouac.
I would highly recommend anyone who loves nature and rebellion against civilization to purchase a copy of this book and give it a read!

This short novel is an excellent quick read, very honest and straight forward in formula. I was recommended to this author from a friend. This story reminded me of a modern day Walden, plenty of story mixed with substance and emotion.
