Markus Kennedy Katey-Aklie (AKA Hopeman) is a teaching minister with a peak performance based message. He ministers as a peak performance, trainer, coach, author and advocate. He is also the Founder of CSD Africa (Center For Self Developement)— an Accra based organization dedicated to research, training and coaching in peak performance.
He has twenty one years experience as an entreprenuer and consultant working with SMEs in the area of information technology and marketing before waking up to is true calling as a teacher in the body of Christ. He currently provides training at Church Sunday schools, workshops, corporate organisations etc.
He believes that the bane of the so called third world countries like his beloved Ghana has a lot to do with low performance in individuals and organisations. As a Pan-Africanist he continues to evangelize that the hope for economic emancipation of Africa and her children around the world rest in an improvement in quality and quantity of output per individual who form the micro-component of any group.
Heading the CSD® research team he has helped developed many materials including the SPiD-UP® book series and workshops, the Uptimetrics® (Training and Certification) program and Hopeman Exhortations (a series of writtings, teachings, sermons, radio and television programs designed to engender peak performance based on the Christ example). He lives in Accra with his wife Taiwo (Adeyemo) Katey-Aklie and son Menelik Ogist Kabutey Aklie and travels around the continent ministering and encouraging everyone to emulate the most accomplished individual to ever walk the earth—Jesus.
