Irish born Australian, Marie Seltenrych [nee Rafferty] began writing and drawing at age 4. During Summer holidays in her beloved Leixlip, she drew pictures and made comics with her beloved siblings, Dolores, Liam, Josephine and Raymond. Her youngest brother, Keith, (17 years her junior) has inspired her to write and has been one of her biggest encouragers. From crayon and pencil scribbles, she has gained skills and confidences to write, draw and publish short stories, children's stories, adult romance titles, an adult mystery, a play, a book on prophecy, a book on "How to do online publishing", various devotionals. Marie is also a poet (much to some people's surprise), and is always busy helping someone along the publishing journey. Her belief is definitely, "Love your readers"; "practice makes perfect;" "Pick up the pieces and move on" and "get the talent honed".

This book was a delightful tale of mystery and children getting into trouble as their curiously spied and discover secrets that others had. A treat to read with your children or a brief get away like a Nancy DRew mystery and so much more.
This author as I am discovering wears many hats talented creative as an author, artist and even editor. What more can a reader asked for. Back to this delightful tale and see what the gang discover at the abandoned house with the cupboard discover. Memory lapses and time makes one forget. So this author is a gem as her stories can be reread and enjoyed with her colorful pictures over and over again. Happy holidays and Merry Christmas. Do not let this gem of an artist be forgotten this holiday season as she writes in many genres and her books are a great gift to email someone and share.
