There are definitely plenty of great recipes here, which makes this book worth reading. However, these recipes have nothing to do with weight loss. This book actually contains the ludicrous myth of, and I quote: "'thermogenic” fruits and vegetables, or those which contain fewer calories compared to the calories you need in order to digest or process them."
If the human digestive system actually worked like that, humanity would have starved to death. These juice recipes are worth trying for their own sake, but everything else about the book can be dismissed, including its ideology.
