About Jason Marshall

Jason Marshall was born in the semi-rural settings of the Redlands Shire on the outskirts of Brisbane. It was here on acreage that he first developed his love for tinkering with cars, motorbikes, tractors and anything else he could get his hands on. After leaving school he headed West and spent time working in shearing sheds and as a Jackaroo on 750,000 Acre sheep station Yallalong. Returning to Brisbane Jason took up an apprenticeship with Aust-Euro Automotive where he spent 4 years honing his skills as a mechanic. Aust-Euro was a full service facility and the team regularly attended as many training nights as they could. Nothing was off topic, LPG, Air Conditioning, Diffs, Gearbox and Transmission, Electrical, Panel and much more. This was a truly unique learning environment.

From Aust-Euro Jason worked in various Dealerships until securing a role with Electrajet Australia. It was here that Jason gained advanced knowledge on engine management and vehicle electrical systems and for two years he was part of the technical team. With a young family on the way and wanting to move his career into Sales Jason took a position with Fulcrum Suspensions working with suspension systems and educating the tyre and suspension industry on new and technical products.

In 2004 Jason joined video production firm Media Odyssey where he and the team produced corporate videos for major corporates both locally and internationally. The Media Odyssey team were specialists at designing unique technical project offerings such as the Queensland Fire and Rescue fire simulation house and the Blazer Bear 3D portable cinema. After 4 years with Media Odyssey a crippling industry downturn forced Jason to seek a new career and he joined the technical publisher Autodata.

In more recent times Jason held the position of General Manager with a leading electrical supplier where he worked with Caravan, Camper, RV and Boat Manufacturers around Australia supplying battery chargers and electrical system components. As a member of the technical team Jason was regularly called on to assist customers and end users with technical questions, system designs and product support. Jason also fulfilled the role of Product Manager and regularly liaised with some of the industry’s biggest global brands on new product development and technical innovation.

Jason is humble in his approach to his knowledge and others and would never consider himself an expert. Just someone who has a passion for people and outdoor pursuits.
