Os Filhos da Revolução

Rated 5.00/5 based on 2 reviews
More

About Renato Carreira

.....

Renato Carreira was born. He writes. Often with a computer. Rarely with a pen or pencil. It used to be the other way around, but things change, sometimes with astounding results. This is not the case. He wrote several things in Portuguese. Things made of bits and bytes and also things made of paper. He would like to live in a mansion somewhere and do this for a living, but he can't, so he doesn't.

Os Filhos is a sweeping work of genius, riveting, touching, uproarious, and at times irritating, like a rash, but in a good way. A good kind of rash. In Portuguese, it's even more hilarious. Trust me. Or don't trust me. Read the book and find out for yourself. Warning: Book is in Portuguese. Carreira pulls the curtain back on humanity and politics. It's a triumph of will. He is a wizard of prose, and like all wizards, he should be drowned. Just kidding. Or am I? Warning: This book is not available in Korean.
