About Cole St. James

The author was born in 1947 in California and raised in Kansas. He acted as an operating room tech in the U.S. Army where he served from 1966 to 1969. He married his high school sweetheart during his enlistment. They've been married 44 years and have two children and five grandchildren. He graduated from Wichita State University with majors in English and French, then taught in Annecy, France, before attending graduate school at Purdue. He taught for thirty years in a rural high school in his home state. His hobbies are an 85 IROC-Z, car shows, music, and movies. Writing has always been an important part of his life.
