About Cassy Ryan

I am a quiet introvert with an arbitrary sense of humour and an embarrassing habit of drifting off to La La Land when I am being spoken to. If you knew what was inside my head, you wouldn’t blame me.
If I am staring into space with a strange smile on my face I am not being vacant. I am on an epic adventure in my fantasy land, possibly duelling evil warlords with broadswords, riding flying dragons around erupting volcanoes, collecting magical runes in a giant rabbit-suit, or falling in love with a handsome but mentally-unstable prince of a faraway kingdom.
This is the real me. The VISIBLE me is an uninteresting member of society who loves animals and has a passion for cooking, reading, cycling, videogames and drawing. I am an artist who specialises in anthropomorphic art and cartoons, and I occasionally take commissions on the side.

With an opening worthy of being placed next to a Tolkien collection, Cassandra Ryan pulls you into a world of tragedy, grief born madness, love and triumph in a few short minutes.
Introducing her wonderfully portrayed Characters with a playful afternoon of Falconry, her “Kingdom of Sagely” is given to you as a home base worthy of your attachment throughout your time there. Giving you reason to, at first, dislike her villains with intensity.
However, sliding through current day action and memories of the past with ease, Ryan shows you that villainy isn’t always what it seems at first glance, giving depth where many other new Authors wallow in the shallows.
Showing an intensity that surprises, the pain and suffering that some must withstand within this epic fantasy world is portrayed in such a way that you cannot help but feel the anguish yourself, alongside the love and playfulness of the young Knights.
Cassandra Ryan is on the right track to becoming a well-known new Author with this fantastic first installment of what looks to be an incredible ride with the Knights of Sagely.

This book has a bit of everything for reading audiences these days: Action, Adventure, Romance, Magic and Dragons; all set in a medieval background.
You instantly fall in love with the characters and how they interact with each other; being brought to laughter, anger (and yes, i shed a tear or two) over what happens to these people. You truly feel the hatred the heroes have for the villains of the story and the passion they feel for the things they stand up for.
Don't think you can just download the sample of the first 50% of this book and leave it at that, because the whole story builds up to a climactic battle scene that will leave you breathless!
And this is just the first book!

I look forward to hearing more Cassy Ryan, i truly believe: "She has only just begun..." - J.R. Alcock
