please, please write a second part, give steven some redeeming qualities, and let him realize his selfishness in regards to kyle!!!!!especially with his 'excuses' why he still needs to screw women, and let kyle grow a set, and let him demand some better treatment. this isn't a bdsm novel, but some of steve's treatment of kyle reminds me of it. even is kyle 'isn't gay' you still treat your best friend-your brother of choice-better than that!!!! my advice-as both a writer, and a person-put seven in a war, where he is forced to GROW UP and realize it's about more than him and how lucky he is to have kyle. i am quite upset that i read the whole story, without him realizing that-especially once he heard the conversation kyle had when he thought steven was asleep, and i hoped he would realize then how selfish he was, what kyle truly meant to him, and the amends he had to make to kyle. but no-instead he asks if it's still okay if they stay 'friends with benefits' i hope you make some changes, and you keep with it-writing isn't easy, neither is writing out human emotions.

Something about this book left a bad taste in my mouth. I couldn't help but feel that Kyle was constantly being used. The story keeps contradicting itself and the dialogue is oftentimes stilted and jerky.
Both Matthew and Steve are willing to sleep with Kyle and keep taking advantage of his need to be accepted. Also, they keep using the Marines as an excuse to keep things clandestine and are slightly homophobic.
Nothing ever really happens besides sex and the many grammatical errors made reading the story somewhat difficult.

They were some grammatical errors but frankly this book was so hot I did not care.
