Diary of a Dead Man

Rated 4.33/5 based on 3 reviews
Nash was once an ordinary man, that was before tragedy grabbed hold of his life. Over the years it has taken everything from him leaving a dried out husk of a man until eventually it came for him too. His death however isn't the end he had hoped for. He may be dead but he's not gone, now he operates his rotting corpse from place to place looking for answers to life, answers to death, and brains.

This was a great read that kept my attention for every page. I enjoyed learning about the deep emotions and conflict within the mind of Nash the zombie, as well as the bits and pieces of his life that come to the reader bit by bit. The ideas of what would go on in the mind of a zombie are original and creative. Details of "death" and the process and emotions of dying were equally creative and entertaining. As the reader, I was able to connect with the character and feel for him. Well written work of art I've already recommended to others!

A great creepy feel runs through the book. You feel for Nash even as you try and understand his situation. That's really cool.

Also, I love the post-it notes that crop up. It's the kind of thing that eBooks do well when they do them at all. Nicely done!

one of the few books to explore the ongoings of a zombie mind, while also exploring the fact that, even when our loved ones die, we continue to live on....even if you're a zombie.
