Rosa L. NeSmith has a story of tremendous resilience. Ms. NeSmith was diagnosed with Lyme disease after visiting more than 15 doctors over a 4 year period and nearly died from Lyme disease. Ultimately, Ms. NeSmith was diagnosed by a Stellar Physician in 15 minutes of the initial office visit.
Subsequently, after Ms. NeSmith’s recovery from the critical stages of the disease, she became acutely aware of the lack of knowledge surrounding Lyme disease on a broader scale; from the doctors to the patient-consumers. She was then inspired to write her recently published memoir; A Race Against Time: Living With Lyme. After answering her call to writing she established a National Nonprofit Organization, Lyme Survivor Awareness Network (LSAN).
In business there is relatively a small segment of leaders who seem able to build relationships, trust and rapport with almost anyone; then broker those relationships to make connections. Our founder is one of those leaders.
In addition to Ms. NeSmith’s caring heart, she possesses a true entrepreneurial spirit blended with 25 years of insurance industry expertise. She is a Thought Leader certified in Leadership and Insurance Sales Coaching. Her prior carrier affiliations include: Allstate, Travelers & Blue Cross/Blue Shield Insurance Companies to name a few. This successful entrepreneur earned her rights by seizing opportunities, taking calculated risks and exhibiting strong leadership.
Ms. NeSmith is an active Philanthropist. Over a four year term, she served as a Co-Founder & Executive Director of the Georgia InVest Program, a nonprofit organization that attracts high school students to insurance careers. Ms. NeSmith is the mother of two who thrives with just one bottom line in mind: a personal commitment to helping others solve problems and achieve their maximum potential.
